Now is the season of Board Exams everywhere!

Parents are after their children for studies. Each parent feels that his child should excel in all subjects. Of-course it’s natural for parents, but at the same time they should be aware of the pressure their children are going thru. Every Parent should peep into their school days & think how clever they were. Were they 1st class 1st in their school days? How they studied in those days. Agree that time competition was not so tough like current days. But then who promoted this competition? It’s US only! We parents have to blame.
It’s US, who decides which college is best / better / good for higher studies. The demand for good college increased the standard of education in various colleges.

If you look around, you can see the exam fever within the parents! As December goes, many parents decide between themselves i.e mother & father who will take leave from office if both the parents are working. Once they are on leave, they manages timetable of their children’s without consulting him. Acc. To them he/ she don’t understand anything! Doesn’t know how much & when to give importance to each subject. Here they manipulate the children’s activity.

Where as, children likes when their parents takes leave for their exams but at the same time they feel that they should be given free hand in deciding their own timetable .Parents should interfere when they are in actual need. Most of the children goes to Classes, where they studies all subjects (not like earlier only for Math & Science) .Now a-days classes are more like second school! For full year they are on their toes, attending school & classes. They are denied to participate in extra curricular activities & sports by parents. No time for recreation through out the year

This is the time when children need Trust & Confidence from Parents. The Parents should give the support to the children rather than nagging them. Explain them nicely why the studies is more important at this stage. If he get less mark then he/ she cannot peruse the education in their choice of field, rather than saying he/she won’t get admission in good college! Education is same every-where. Only its student’s attitude towards education & his /her aim in life that counts. The 10th Board exams decided their path of career & 12the Board exams shape-up their career! That is where parents play the important role in their children’s life. Help children in understanding the importance of studies for their own future progress.

Dear Parents, make resolution this year not to stress your children during the exams. Give them confidence that even though they fail you are always there for them to take care. Children’s are like buds, allow them to blossom at right time.

AND Dear Children, It’s your life, if you want to fulfill all the luxuries in life, earn it yourselves by way of study. This is the beginning , so be careful, need your hardship & respect for your parents. Listen to them they are always there to guide your life towards success.
